Areley Kings, like all Scout Groups needs new volunteers to keep the group alive and fresh. After the departure of the existing Scout Leader who has volunteered for over 20 years, Areley Kings is now looking for some new people to come on board as Scout leaders and join the fun.
Being a Scout Leader and organising activities for young people is immensley rewarding and fun. The Scouts are aged 10.5 to 14 years old and there are 10 in the group at present, which is an ideal sized group to start with for a new leader. The new leader will help the Scouts achieve their badges and help organise activities and events – which include the time honoured camping expeditions! The Scouts meet for an hour and a half a week and all the help, support and training will be provided – all one needs is enthusiasm and energy.
